ZAOZAO is a travel-inspired marketplace to discover exotic independent designs from Asia.
As your virtual tour guide, we’ll dive straight into the sights and sounds of each destination, giving you a glimpse of art, culture, tradition, food, music, fashion.
The world away is much closer than you imagined. Join us for the ultimate destination shopping adventure!
Where do you ship?
Items ship worldwide. While ZAOZAO is based in New York, our designers will ship directly from facilities abroad via local post, ensuring the same protections as items shipped domestically.
How long will it take to receive my order?
As ZAOZAO is a platform connecting shoppers with designers, we are not directly involved with shipping the goods that appear on our website. Each designer has his or her own methods of shipping and timeframes for delivery.
That being said, ZAOZAO does mandate a minimum requirement of standard shipping via local courier. Standard shipping should take anywhere between 7 to 10 business days. Some items are made-to-order, which means the designer has specifically set out to create the piece for you, often by hand, laboriously and with lots of love. This could take up to 30 days and will be specified in the item description. Either way, we promise, it’ll be well worth the wait!
Is it safe to shop on your site?
Each designer that appears on our site has been specially curated by ZAOZAO using the highest of standards. In the rare event that there is an issue with a rogue designer, ZAOZAO will facilitate a resolution.
What if I don’t like the unique, beautiful item I ordered?
As these are often one-of-a-kind pieces made specifically for you, we do not at the current time offer returns. However, if you are unhappy with your order, you have 7 days upon receiving your order to send it back to the designer. The item must be unused, unworn, unwashed, unaltered and undamaged and must be returned in the original packaging, including any boxes and other signature packaging materials in order to be eligible for an exchange.
The replacement item must be the same value or more provided you pay the difference. The difference to exchange an item that amounts to less will not be credited.
