Days Away

Our launch is days away!!! 

Shamelessly resting ANYWHERE I get the chance. In this case, a chair ("art") exhibition in Shanghai. 

Excitement aside, I've been pretty irritable of late thanks to prolonged sleep deprivation and stress. Luckily Vicky's not too bothered by my angry outbursts and is accustomed to my sudden swearing and incessant bitching (or so I think). She usually calms me without so much as blinking an eye!

Truth be told, the one thing I was most stressed about was having a "perfect" beta site in terms of look and functionality. But then I thought to myself, what beta version of anything is? 

In the name of procrastination, I decided to do a little googling:

Apple I: Steve Jobs' 1st product in 1976 was a circuit board. It didn't have a keyboard or monitor.

Facebook when it first launched in 2004.

Twitter in 2006. Take a look at how their homepage has changed over the years here.

MVPs: Apple, Virgin, launchrock, Dropbox, Yahoo & Groupon.

I realized I was focusing on the wrong things, failing to see the bigger picture. I reminded myself that we will continuously improve our platform no matter how good or bad our beta site may be. That's what matters most.
