To wrap up a busy day and an even busier week, the ZAO girls accepted the opportunity to speak in a video for Metro Broadcast (part of the CKC/Hutch empire) in Hong Kong. As cameramen hauling bulky recording equipment invaded Cocoon for the day, we were extra conscientious to "keep quiet" and "move gently" per Darren's request.

| Shhh! Filming in progress. |
A tall order it was, considering we are probably the loudest and most obnoxious Cocoonians around.
In any case, it was an honor for ZAOZAO to be selected as a feature start-up. Anyone who has ever step foot inside Cocoon can tell you that the sound of exasperated head-banging or soliloquy of four letter niceties likely emanates from the far corner of this otherwise immaculate space. There, you will find one tired girl wearing all black or all white, accessorized with items that could impale you (Ling) and another girl wrapped in a plaid blanket, barefoot and always peeling grapefruit (Vicky). Both sport eyebags galore but are always friendly even in their zombie-like state.

Despite these idiosyncrasies, the staff and founders of Cocoon have been nothing but wonderful to us. We've been with them since Day1 which is a bit over a month now, and the environment is just what we needed to get started. All the basics are covered: tables, meeting rooms, pantry, even a ping pong table and foosball to boot! We'll be saddest to leave the community at Cocoon when we move into our new home in Science Park, but remain forever grateful for the opportunities and kindness bestowed upon us during this memorable time.

Filming was good fun today even though it took us a couple tries to get it right. At least, this was the case for me, as I am used to preparing and memorizing scripts. Turned out the process required a lot of ad-libbing, which Ling totally nailed. Good practice for our future reality TV show: "behind the scenes of a fashion-tech startup", adaptation taken from the eponymous blog...
