Destinations we will be heading to this December.
I am all booked! December is going to be an excitingly busy month. We will be heading to Bangkok, Jakarta and Bali to meet with up-and-coming designers to bring to ZAOZAO. I cannot wait!

Only one meeting on today’s agenda. #laidbackfridays
Was connected with the co-founder & CEO of e27 a few weeks ago after meeting with one of INSEAD’s faculty members. Have been meaning to sit down with him to give him a sneak peek of our new site and introduce the new features, but because of my utterly manic travel and work schedule, it only happened today.
One of the perks of running your own startup is the freedom that comes with it. Everything goes. Working in al fresco cafe while sipping wine in the afternoon, setting up Skype meetings in bed, discussing collaboration opportunities over a polo match, turning happy hour drinks with potential clients into an impromptu bar crawl, turning designers meetings into window shopping sprees… you get the (awesome) picture. As long as you get the job done, it doesn’t really matter how or where you do it.

Sipping juice and reading “The Defining Decade” in between meetings.
I have a growing appreciation for quiet afternoons, where I can disconnect from reality for a moment or two and lose myself in a sea of thoughts and daydreams.

My McQueen umbrella doubles as a weapon/arm weight. Wearing Edge of Ember, Carrie K & Cartier rings.
It’s rainy season over here in Singapore so my 100lb umbrella goes everywhere with me. Relieved the areas I had meetings at today were not affected by the flash floods. Never thought rain boots would be a necessity in Singapore, but then again the weather is so neurotic that I’ve seen some people go from wearing tiny tanks to piling on knitted cardigans and scarves in the span of a few hours… and we are right next to the equator.

With Sue, Saloni (of Saloni Rathor), Cindy & Echo at the L’ile aux Ashby show.
Attended Digital Fashion Week last night, self-dubbed as the world’s first shoppable live streaming fashion week. Was a great way to end the weekend. My good friend Rana (blogger over at Bonjour Singapore, newly appointed Editor-in-Chief of Marie France Asia) hosted Digital Fashion Week once again this year. Naomi Campbell was flown in for the press conference and opening! Shame I didn’t get to see her.
